TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions of Our Service
At 3Dpolyex, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality in 3D printing services. Therefore, we offer a guarantee that covers the reprinting or repairing of printed parts in case of a demonstrable 3D printing error.
To ensure a fair and efficient claims process, we have established a 15-calendar-day deadline to raise any issues with printed parts once they are delivered to the customer.
Why a 15-calendar-day?
  • Timely detection of defects: This period allows the customer to carefully inspect the printed parts and detect any defects or errors that may have gone unnoticed during the packing and delivery processes.
  • Quick resolution: Establishing a defined deadline expedites the claim process and facilitates the timely resolution of any problems that may arise.
  • Protection of the company: A reasonable time protects 3Dpolyex from late claims, which could make it challenging to evaluate the part’s defects and determine liability accurately.

Our Warranty
  • Coverage: 3Dpolyex’s printing services have a 3-month warranty covering defects from faulty materials and workmanship. We cover printing errors attributable to our process, such as design flaws, incorrect printer calibration, or errors in printing parameter settings.
  • Claim process: If you detect any defect in the printed part, contact us as soon as possible to start the claim process. We will ask you for information about the part, photos of the defect and any other relevant information.
  • Evaluation and decision: We will carefully evaluate the case to determine if the defect is within the scope of our warranty. If the error is confirmed to be ours, we will proceed to reprint the part or repair it as necessary.

What our Warranty does not cover
  • Exposure of Parts to the Sun or Chemicals: Some of the materials we offer are not UV or chemical-resistant, while others are, but they will be affected over time. 3Dpolyex is not responsible for the customer's misuse of the part. The material and its mechanical properties are explained to the customer before the project begins, and we only proceed with the customer's written agreement.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: The 3D-printed parts will show normal deterioration over time. 3Dpolyex is not responsible unless a failure occurs due to a material or workmanship defect.
  • Part alteration: The warranty does not cover any part that has been repaired or altered unless 3Dpolyex has authorised it in writing.
  • Damage to Parts: 3Dpolyex is not responsible for damage or breakage of printed parts caused by the customer. If a part breaks due to mishandling or improper use, the warranty does not apply.
  • Returns: 3Dpolyex does not offer refunds once the printing job is completed. If 3Dpolyex is responsible for damage or defects in the printed parts, we will replace them under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Printing Parameter Specifications: If the customer does not specify the desired printing parameters (layer height, number of perimeters, infill percentage, tolerance, etc.), 3Dpolyex will use the most convenient parameter specification according to the part's functionality and inform the customer.
  • Printing Orientation and Visual Differences: 3Dpolyex guarantees that the printed model will closely match the features of the ordered model based on the current 3D printing technology. 3Dpolyex will make the final decision on the model's building orientation. It's important to note that a printed model cannot be rejected due to the chosen printing orientation. Minor visual differences may be present between multiple copies of one model due to production reasons such as different print orientations and composition of raw materials. Also, the part will show standard layer-by-layer lines and/or seam points on the part's surface.
  • Specific Treatment of Parts: If printed parts require specific post-processing, such as sanding, painting, varnishing, or any other additional process, the customer must provide a photo or sample representing the desired finish. If this information is not supplied, 3Dpolyex does not guarantee obtaining the desired final result since it does not have the information required to replicate the specific finish.
